A magical community for all

We pride ourselves on being a community of like-minded people, professional magicians and hobbyists alike. Our only requirements are a willingness to participate in our monthly activities and a respect for other members of magic and the allied arts. Friends and families are also welcome.

Monthly lectures

Our connections in the magic community are broad and deep. Every month, we are able to invite top quality local and international guest speakers to deliver educational and entertaining lectures on the topics of magic and its allied arts. With us, you can learn from the best.

A magic library

Membership of the club also gives you access to a sizable library of magic videos and books, covering not only contemporary professional material but also many secrets from the early days of magic. This fantastic resource is naturally complemented by the wealth of knowledge and experiences of our fellow members, many of whom are recognised names in the world of magic.

Welcome to The Magic Circle of Victoria Inc.

The Magic Circle of Victoria was formed in 1938. It has been active continuously from then to the present day. We even continued our meetings during the COVID years via Zoom!

The Magic Circle of Victoria has a wide range of members. We have full time professional magicians and there are other part time professional performers. Many members are hobbyists who perform for family and friends. Finally there are the enthusiasts who love magic but do not perform. Some of these create and build magic props and others just enjoy magic.

Whichever category you put yourself in there is a place for you in our club. Every one of these is an important part of the Magic Circle. We welcome everyone and are happy to help you with performance, learning tricks or in any way we can.
